Disc is designed for rotating at a particular RPM (if disc is mounted on grinding machine having more RPM, it may lead to fatal accident at site). 
Disc label also defines expiry date. Binding resin material remains good until expiry.

Label also defines size of disc.

Each disc material is designed for a particular task. Disc for metal grinding is not suitable for other such work.
